II.         Data processing in general

1.         Scope of the processing of personal data

Our processing of the personal data of our users is limited to data that is required to provide a properly functioning of our website as well as to the presentation of our contents. The processing of personal data of our users is only carried out for the purposes agreed with them or if there is another legal basis (within the meaning of the GDPR). We only collect personal data that is actually required to perform and carry out our tasks and services or that you have made available to us voluntarily.

2.         Your rights (rights of the persons affected)

You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you may request information about the purpose of processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, transmission of data[1], the origin of your data if it has not been collected by us, and the existence of automatic decision-making, including profiling.

Additionally, you have the right to revoke a previously granted consent to use your personal data at any time.

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us is in conflict with the applicable data protection laws, you have the possibility to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority. III.        Description and scope of data processing

1.                  Provision of the website

Visitor and usage data:

With every access to our website, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer. The following data is collected:

  • Information regarding the type and version of the internet browser used
  • Operating system of the user
  • Referral URL (the previously visited website)
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
  • Date and time of the server request
  • Name of accessed file
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Report on successful access

The data mentioned above is saved for a maximum time period of 6 months. This storing is done due to data security reasons and to ensure the stability and operational reliability of our systems.

Web analysis

We do not conduct our own web analysis and do not use any web analysis tools. Thus, no evaluation of the aforementioned visitor and usage data takes place.

2.         Cookies

We use cookies on our website in order to make our services more user-friendly. Cookies are small files that your browser automatically creates and are saved on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone etc.) whenever you visit our website. Cookies remain stored until you delete them. This allows us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

If you do not wish to use cookies, you can adapt your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you can allow them in individual cases. However, we would like to point out that a deactivation will mean that you will not be able to use all the functions of our website.

The legal basis for the processing of data through cookies is Article 6 para 1 first sentence lit. f GDPR.

Cookies remain valid for 12 months and will subsequently be deleted by your browser.

3.         Contact form/contact by e-mail

If you fill out a contact form or send us an e-mail or another form of electronic message, your data will only be stored for processing your request, possible related further questions, and used only in the context of your request.

Legal basis for the processing of your request is Article 6 para. 1 first sentence lit. b GDPR.

We will delete your e-mail address after your request has been dealt with.

4.         Download of files (e.g. software)

We do not require you to provide any personal data in order for you to download files from our website.

IV.       Data security

Within the website visit we use the widespread SSL-procedure in connection with certificates from Let’s Encrypt. You can identify whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the display of the closed key or lock symbol in the address bar of your browser.

Additionally, we use other appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
